Getting there

Typically, especially when arriving from overseas, your first stop will be in Vancouver. If you have planned your trip to arrive a day or even several days ahead of your course, enjoy this beautiful seaside city wih its diverse cultures and world-class shopping, dining and entertainment. The travel agency “Die Reise” (phone: +49-5483-72190, fax: +49-5483-721929, info@die reise.de), represented by Stefan Richter, has been active on our behalf for many years and would be happy to make your travel arrangements.

Your next stop, Williams Lake, is a mere 1-hour hop by airplane, serviced by Central Mountain Air and Pacific Coastal Airlines.

The Williams Lake airport is located about 20 min. out of town, where I shall gladly pick you up if you let me know your arrival time and I can set it up in time.

Once in Williams Lake, you can either book a room at the Sandman Inn (phone: 001-250-392-6557, fax: 001-250-392-6242, res_williamslake@sandman.ca) at a special rate for NTS guests or at any of the other available accommodations in town. This first day will give you some time to adjust to your new surroundings as well as shop for any missing items. Please note that, if you plan to do any amount of shopping or sightseeing, it may be advisable to arrive in Williams Lake a day early.

In the morning of the first Seminar day, we meet at Sandman Inn/Denny’s for breakfast and I shall answer questions that you may have. After breakfast your adventure starts. Transport to the camp is either by an exciting 4,5 hour ride by 4×4 truck (and snowmobile in winter months) or, if you booked it, a scenic 1-hour flight by chartered bushplane (Guardian Aerospace, Eric Stier, phone: 001-250-567-2655, Fax: 001-250-567-2656, mobile: 001-250-570-2670).
